About

The Exchange Club

The Exchange Club Focuses on 4 primary programs in our community:

1. The Prevention of Child Abuse
2. Youth Programs
3. Community Service
4. Americanism

The Exchange Club of Cedartown believes in our youth in Polk County. We give away thousands of dollars in scholarships each year to high school seniors in Rockmart and Cedartown.

We sponsor:

  • Our House battered women’s shelter

  • Boy Scouts

  • Parkinson's Walk

  • Cedartown Performing Arts Commission children's program

  • Renaissance Programs at Cedartown High School & Cherokee Elementary School

  • Softball program at Cedartown Middle School

  • Bedding for the Needy

  • The “One Nation Under God” Prayer Breakfast

  • “Give a Kid a Flag to Wave” program

  • Law Officer of the Year

  • Firefighters of the Year

  • Fire Prevention Materials for school children and sponsor Crime Prevention Awareness Week

Americanism is a project that the Exchange Club holds near and dear. We donate Freedom Shrines to each school in Polk County. These shrines represent great American history with displays of copies of such great documents as the Declaration of Independence and The Bill of Rights.

Our club is a member of the National Exchange Club. To learn more information on what the Exchange Club has been doing for many years all across this great nation go to: www.nationalexchangeclub.org
